4 Easy Ways to Build Backlinks to Your Site Starting Today!

Hey there,

Today’s blog post is about building backlinks to your site.

There are really only 4 methods to building backlinks to your site.

But before you start building backlinks to your site, you have to think through these questions…

How much you intend to spend? How fast do you want those links? and how much effort you are willing to put in to get these links!

Here’s the very first method.

#1 – Getting Paid Links

This method of getting backlinks to your site is a little tricky and should only be done if first you have enough money and secondly if you are sure that what you are doing is perfectly legal.

You can submit your links to Paid Link Directories or Pay for incontext links on good sites.

Paying to get your link on paid directories vary in terms of results. Certain reputable directories like Yahoo site directory require you pay a fee of $300 and if you want to get really good site rankings, this is a backlink you have to get.

Paying for links on other people’s blogs on the other hand can be a little tricky. You must know what you are getting into and not get caught. Because Google does not take too kindly to people buying links and trying to trick Google into thinking their site is very popular.

#2 – Building Free Links

You can however, get Free backlinks from Blog comments, Free Directories, Article writing and forum marketing!

These backlinks take time to build but they are Free and as long as you consistently take time to make blog commments, submit your site to free directories, write articles to submit to article directories, post often on forums, you will start seeing an increase in number of backlinks to your site!

One Trick that I use is. Go find for good blogs that have the sidebar widget titled “Top Commentors” or “Recent Comments”.

All I need to do is post comments on that blog regularly and my name with my website link will appear in that widget section. That widget on the sidebar will appear on every page throughout the website.

And that translates to a really huge amount of backlinks!

#3 – Link Exchange

The third way is to find good link partners.

Even better would be to find other websites in your niche to exchange links with!

Imagine Google seeing that sites within your niche actually linking to you, voting to say that your site is good, your rankings will shoot up! Google will know that you are an authority in your niche if many sites in your niche start linking to you.

Of course, choosing a good link partner is important, there are some important criteria to follow,

But I will touch on this in later lessons. (Just stick around and look out for them!)

#4 – Create your own sites

Instead of constantly look out for other link partners, one way is to build your very own Link network!

That is you have your own social media sites like (Hubpages, Squidoo, etc) and also your own small blogs like (Blogger.com, WordPress.com) and you create content on them and…

Start linking to each other in a natural manner, do not make things too deliberate.

Focus on providing information and content on each web property and you will build your links normally.

Google will start trawling all these sites and rank each highly accordingly.

Creating a Site Google Loves – How to do Good On-Site SEO

Hey there,

Do You want to know how to rank highly in the search engines??

Well, It is all about creating a site that Google loves.

The easy way to do that is to make sure your content targets the right keywords. You also need to have good on site navigation, have a site map and lastly good internal linking.

Sounds like quite a bit of things you have to do?

No worries! I’ve broken it down into simple steps for you.

Here are the different steps you can now take to create a site Google Loves.

Step #1: Sit down and decide what your content will be about

If your site is all about sports, figure out what kinds of sports content you’ll put on there. Maybe you’ll write about basketball or golf or football or any other sport.

The point is, make sure that whatever content you write is relevant to your site. After that, make a list of keywords that are relevant to your content

So if you’re creating a music site, an example of some relevant keywords would be:

Rock, Pop, Country, Rap, R&B, Hip Hop, Guitar

Step #2: Begin writing the content

You will now start creating articles for each category of your site – Rock, Pop, Country, Rap, R&B, Hip Hop, Guitar.

Remember, for every article you create, target a keyword that you know you can rank highly for and that has a substantial search volume globally.

Say after 1 month, You have already created 3 Guitar articles and 3 Rock music articles.

You have to make sure that your Guitar articles are all linked to one another.

I will name the 3 articles Guitar article Guitar Article A, B and C for example.

So inside the content of Guitar article A, there will be links to Guitar article B and C. Guitar article B will have links to A and C. And so on and so forth.

The links you create to link between blog posts should not be like a normal links (e.g. Click Here for Guitar article B) but rather Your links should be ANCHOR TEXT LINKS.

For Example : You can check out my post about Guitar Playing Techniques to find out more.

Guitar Playing Techniques is the keyword Guitar article A is trying to rank for in this example, so using keywords for your link is called Anchor Text Link.

Other than just the “Guitar articles” linking to each other, it is also good for the “Guitar articles” to link to the “Rock music articles”. So this way, you can keep people who are interested in your guitar articles as well as your Rock music articles longer on your site as they hop from article to article on your site.

It is always good to check out the good blogs out there to see how their navigational structure is like.

See how they keep you glued to their site by offering more and more links to different interesting articles and pages.

Step #3: Creating a Site Map and Submit to Google

Having a site map is really good for Google as they can now see what are the different pages on your site. You need to create a site map by using this plugin called “Google XML Sitemaps”

This plugin “Google XML Sitemaps” will create a document that contains information to all the pages and blog posts on your site.

This document is in .XML format, and all you need to do now is to tell Google where to find that site map by submitting this .XML document to Google at Google Webmaster.

Alternatively, you can check out this Sitemap Generator Plugin for WordPress.

This Plugin actually creates a web page containing links to all the pages and posts on your site for google spiders to locate them and crawl these pages to rank them in the search engines. Your visitors can also easily find posts or pages from your site map page.

Getting Traffic to your squeeze page is not all that difficult.

But having said that I am not saying that it is all that easy either.

But there is one guaranteed way to have visitors to your squeeze page and that is through ARTICLE MARKETING.

Writing articles and posting them up on article directories is actually just 1 part of my article marketing strategy.

Here is The Best Article Marketing Strategy For Long Term Traffic!

1. Write for Ezine Articles – 1 Article a day

Ezine articles is the best article directory already. So I will focus the initial part of my attention on this article directory first. I want to submit 1 article a day to Ezine Articles.

2. Submit to these Article Directories too

Usually that article to Ezine Articles will take 1-3 days to get approved. So in the mean time while waiting, I will take the article and re write it a little and then submit it to…

These article directories are way much more slacker with their article submissions compared to Ezine articles and you likely only need to wait 1 day for your articles to get into their directories.

3. Bookmarking Time!

Now that you have your articles submitted to these directories already, You will have the URL which your article is at.

You will now take that URL and Bookmark it.

The Sites that you want to first Bookmark to are :

StumbleUpon

Delicious

Or you also purchase this Software that allows you to socially bookmark all your URLs in double quick time.

Yes, I have heard unsavoury comments about SE Nuke before but I think that as long as you do not use these kinds of semi-black hat methods on your own money site but rather use these methods on your article URLs, I think that should be fine.

Give SE Nuke a go and it can save you a whole bunch of time.

4. Submit Your RSS Feeds!

Next, I will submit my Article’s RSS Feed to RSS submission sites.

For Ezine articles Your RSS feed will look something like this.

For other article directories they will differ. Some you can find the link to your RSS feed through your dashboard section, some just do not have RSS Feed to your articles.

5. Ping Your URLs

Once that is done, it is time to Ping the URLs.

Remember everyday you are submitting 1 article to Ezine articles and the same but slightly rewritten one to another more article directories.

So that means everyday, you have URLs to Bookmark and Ping.

You will copy and paste these URLs into this site and PING!

Some of the pinging will be successful, some won’t be. You only have got to try.

If you think that this is all that I do for my article marketing then you are wrong!

Lastly…

6. Submit eBooks to eBooks directories!

Yes, I now will take 3 articles and create an eBook. When I say I create 1 article a day, I will usually end up with 6-7 articles a day. Say one day I decide to slack and not write, so I will have 6 articles.

I will take 3 articles and put them together into Open office and then convert it into PDF.

Of course I will add in other stuff like add in links in the eBook back to my money site, add in links in the eBook back to my squeeze page, add in pictures into the eBook because if it is just all words it can get really boring.

With 6-7 articles, I can create 2 eBooks out of them. I will now submit them to eBook directories.

I fully agree with you.

So this is how I outsource my work. You may or may not need to follow what I do but this is how I do it.

The 1 article will be written by Freelancer A

The article rewriting and submission to the other Directories will be done by Freelancer B.

The Bookmarking, Pinging and RSS Feed submission of the URLs daily will be done by Freelancer B too.

The Creation of the eBook will be done by Freelancer C.

The Submission of the eBook will be done by Freelancer D.

Altogether I will have 4 people working for me daily.

It is not easy, I have to admit. And the traffic will not come immediately. You have to do this strategy for a good 6 months EVERY DAY then you will start to see results and that is when it all pays off!

Video Marketing Gets You Traffic You never think possible!

Filming a video and putting it up online is now not just reserved for the Gurus only.

Everyone can do it, and I recommend that everyone should do it!

These days, Videos work so much better than written text because people are too ‘lazy’ to read, they rather watch.

Videos get your message across so much better!

So how do you go about using video marketing to get traffic to your site??

I will share a few tips I learned along the way when I started out video marketing not too long ago.

Should You use Camstudio? (The $300 software!)

First off, in this post I will touch on filming screen capture videos only. Filming videos where you are talking face to face with the camera is something I have not done before so I can’t tell you how to go about doing it.

So how do you film screen capture videos? (Screen capture videos are videos that capture what you do on your computer screen and is a great way to create informational videos)

First up, I recommend getting Camstudio. (This is a $300 screen capture software that is by far the best out there)

But of course with anything, there is always a cheaper alternative. Camstudio Pro is the cheaper alternative I am using.

Camstudio Pro costs $30 and it is really not much different from Camstudio. I bought and tried Camstudio Pro not too long ago. The look and layout of the Camstudio Pro recorder is pretty much the same as Camstudio.

If you want a completely free alternative to this 2 then there is this software called Screen CapStudio by Dave Guindon who is the guy behind Camstudio Pro. Screen CapStudio is a fantastic screen capture tool that is completely FREE so there is no harm at all giving it a shot.

Other than a screen capture softeare, you also need a microphone to record your voice in your video. You can get a cheap microphone for less than $20 from eBay or Amazon.

What Should I have in My video? (Your Video Slides)

Since you are filming a screen capture video, having powerpoint slides to make up your video is a very important aspect.

It will be what you will be showing to your viewers. After you know what you want to put in my video, create your powerpoint slides.

Say you have an eBook that you have already written and it was very well received by many people. You can easily take the content that You wrote in your eBook and put it into powerpoint form.

Once your powerpoint is ready… Start Filming!

You should always always write down in point form what you want to say in your video on a piece of paper.

It is very easy to forget what you might want to say and thus if you can have all that you want to say written down, it will make your video smoother and you will not forget your points.

You can even have a script if you want but after a while you might start reading off your script and that is not natural.

Talk as if you are teaching a friend or talking to an acquaintance and you will find that you will talk naturally in your video.

Uploading Your Video on Youtube

Now it is time to upload your video on Youtube.

Youtube is the biggest video sharing site out there and You must definitely try to get as much traffic from Youtube to your site as possible.

So How do you upload your video on Youtube?

Create a Google account.

This is as easy as opening a basic Gmail account and you will have a Google account created.

Uploading your video on Youtube is easy. But after that is done, remember to choose the right keywords to put into your video Title and put in appropriate keywords in your Tags.

How to get Your Video at the Top Of Google?

Have You seen Youtube videos appearing on the first page of Google before?

It is very common nowadays as Youtube is part of Google and Google wants its videos to play a part in the search engine results as well.

So if you want to target a particular keyword, when You create your video title, You must make sure you put in that Keyword you want to target in your title.

For the tags to put in for your videos, I usually take about 1/2 an hour to find the Most Viewed Youtube Videos in my niche and copy the keyword tags they use.

This will ensure that my video will appear as “Related videos” to these popular videos.

People after watching the popular video will want to watch my video too, especially if the title to my video is catchy enough.

Posting Your Video as a Video Response to other videos…

You can also put your video as “Video Response” to many other popular videos.

There are some videos that will not allow you to post your video as a “video response” immediately to a video, until approval by the creator but the trick is to just keep posting your video as a “video response” to as many videos out there as possible.

I also spend quite a bit of time posting comments and video responses to other videos to spread the word on my video as far out as possible so that I can get traffic from other videos to my video.

Lastly,

After you are done with uploading your video to Youtube.

You can actually Use Tube Mogul to upload your video to all these sites.

What You need is to have a great product,

Know where to find Giveaway events and then…

Know how to drive traffic to your Giveaway site page!

Sounds easy? Let’s get into the gist of how to go about doing this shall we?

Step #1 – Choosing a Good product to Giveaway

Most of the time if you join a giveaway event as a FREE member, you are only allowed to giveaway 1 product and that’s all.

If you pay a small sum, you are allowed to giveaway more than 1 product.

But having said that, giving away 1 product only does not necessarily mean you won’t get any people opting in to your offer. It all depends on what you are offering and the quality of it.

Some people joining giveaway events are mostly re-hashing PLR products and giving it away. This is not a bad idea but you need to stand out.

This is what you can do to choose a stand out product!

1. Visit Warrior Forum and see the Warrior Special Offer section.

2. See the threads of products that are getting 4,000-5,000 views. With so many people interested in that offer, it means that product has got to be something special.

3. Now you can either buy the WSO product (It usually is very cheap, about $7 to $10 ) or just check out all the comments and reviews about the product. Find out everything you need to know about this product that is generating so much interest and views.

4. You can now either get a PLR product of the same topic or you create a brand new info product, whether it is an eBook or video course. You do not need to spend too much time on this product because you are going to give it away anyway. But the quality must be there and it must have similar or equal content as the Popular WSO product you just found.

If that WSO can get so much hype and interest around it, Your giveaway product can do the same too! (If it is just as good)

Step #2 – How to join Giveaway events?

You can go to sites like these for any notifications of JV Giveaways!

All you need to do is sign up and you will be given instructions on how to start contributing to the giveaway.

Make sure that you know what are the dates of the giveaways that you sign up for. Once you know the date, you can plan your marketing plan to get people to the giveaway site

Now this is the important part. You have to drive traffic to your giveaway offer, if not no one will know about your offer and no one will sign up to your list!

So now you can drive traffic to your giveaway offer using this 3 methods

1. Use Free Classified ads

You can advertise your giveaway page using free classified ads and though this method is not the best method but it can bring you a quick surge of traffic to your page.

Usually these followers on facebook are waiting or they are interested in freebies the marketer is giving out on Facebook.

So your Giveaway link to many different free gifts will definitely get them interested.

3. Go to Fiverr.com to buy free traffic

On Fiverr.com, you can find many people offering their traffic services. Some of them have paid for expensive member products to get them traffic from articles etc. You can now use these tools for $5 if the freelancer on fiverr.com actually offers this service.

How to Monetize Your Blog using Google Adsense

You might or might not have heard of Google Adsense before.

But it is basically one way that many online bloggers monetize their blogs.

So What is Google Adsense?

Google Adsense is a program offered by Google. The program once installed on your blog, will display ads provided by Google.

You might be wondering where these ads come from, well, they are from advertisers who wish to advertise on Google’s network and once Google deem that the ad and your blog cover the similar topic, the Google ad will appear on your blog.

The advertiser will pay Google a certain amount, usually ranging from 2 Cents to even 3 dollars a click.

So everytime a visitor to your site clicks on the Google adsense ad on your site, the advertiser has to pay the amount he/she agreed to pay Google for.

Google will take that few cents and split it between you and themselves.

Google does not disclose how much per click you will earn for that ad but it is not very difficult to find out.

Say you go to your Google adsense account after one day and you realise that you have earned $12 in clicks. You checked also that you received 33 clicks. So all you need to do is divide $12 by 33 and you will find out how much you are earning per click per ad.

How do you apply to have Google Adsense ads on your Blog?

Firstly, your blog must have really good content and good traffic numbers.

To apply for Google adsense, fill out the form with information about yourself at Google Adsense.

After 12-48 hours, Google will notify you via email whether or not your site has been accepted.

I will now warn you that Google does not accept any and every site into its network. They are of course very strict on gambling, pornographic or illegal sites. But having said that, Google is also very peculiar in that some perfectly good sites with high traffic numbers still get rejected from its network time and time again.

No real reason given. If you get rejected by google, try tweaking your site, make it good in Google’s eyes and also drive traffic to it. After all that changes, apply to Google Adsense again and cross your fingers!

Many people give up after so many times applying to Google adsense, and it can be frustrating. But I only have to say that you have to keep trying to actually succeed.

When you’ve been accepted, set up your ads by doing either of the following:

1. If your blog is hosted on Blogger.com, you can set up your AdSense ads by going to your profile, selecting settings>template>add an element.

Then select AdSense and login with your account info.

Next, you’ll configure your ads and save the template. That’s it.

2. If you are self-hosting your blog, you’ll have to set up AdSense in a manual way.

You’ll create your ads inside your Google adsense account. You can set your ads to be as small or as tall as you want and then copy the HTML/Javascript code and paste it into your blog (You can paste it on the left, right, or top of the screen).

For the first few days, the ads displayed by Google will be Public Service Announcements. After the ads have been up a few days, though, the ads will switch to ads that are relevant to your blog.

How you can start Earning Money Through Adsense!

Every time a visitor clicks an Adsense ad, you get some money (usually around 30-60 cents). The amount you get for each ad clicked depends on the number of unique visitors you get to your site.

The more visitors, the more money that can be earned.

Google will then send a check or pay you through Paypal once you’ve made at least $100 from the ads.

It is important to remember that Google will penalize you if you click your own ads, or if you ask visitors specifically to click ads. So don’t do that!

You know that building up your list is important.

But what is lacking in the sentence above is that – “The money is in the CUSTOMER list”.

This is where you will make money from.

You need a list of people that are proven buyers.

They have bought a product online before and these people will want to buy more products in the future.

So in today’s blog lesson, I will show you a few tricks to help you build your customer list.

Step #1 – Create Your Product from PLR

The first step is the easiest but also the most important.

This step is where you create your product. You may be a little apprehensive about writing your own eBook or creating your own info product but fret not!

Because you have PLR products!

Yes, using PLR products, you can easily create your own product.

How do you do it? Well, Visit This PLR site now and become a member, and then start downloading their PLR products!

Of course you can easily type into Google “PLR products” and you will see many different sites selling you tons of PLR products but can you be certain of their quality?

I know that this site which I am recommending now have some of the best PLR products so head over there now and get a good PLR product that you think is useful and will help people solve problems.

You must be able to brand the product as yours and more importantly, the PLR product must have a ready made “Affiliate page” (You will know why later)

You must know how to set up your website, your entire sales funnel and of course get your domain name and hosting.

Step #2 – Get Affiliates to Sell Your Product

Go to JVnotify.com and also the JV forum at warriorforum.com.

This is where You will get as many affiliates as possible to promote your product for you.

The way to convince affiliates to promote your product for you is to always put yourself in their shoe and offer them something that even you yourself will not resist.

Step #3 – How to Get as many affiliates to promote your product for you

You can..

1. Promise them 100% profits to the product.

Your affiliates take 100% of the profits, you take the subscribers list from the customers.

2. You can promise to promote their product to your list in return.

You can tell your affiliates that in the future if they have any product launch or any of their products, you will promote their product to your list and you can help them build their list too!

3. You can give away prizes to the best affiliates.

Of course you will need to come up with attractive prizes but as long as you have a bonus or prize that is enticing, you will start drawing attention and hype to your affiliate contest.

Make use of the JV forums well and you will do well to attract many affiliates.

Step #4 – How do you build your list from selling product?

You must get your customer’s email before he/she buys the product.

1. You can force your prospective customer to enter their name and email before they can even click the order now button. This means that the order button is now unlike normal order button where it is just an order button.

This kind of order button is like an opt in form.

It will look something like this.

2. The second way to build a customer list is after your customer makes his/her payment, you can create a interstitial page.

This is a middle page after they have paid already. After they have entered their credit card details etc, when they click on “Purchase”, they will be brought to the interstitial page.

A page with just an opt in form for them to enter their name and email address before they can be brought to the download page to download the product they just bought.

This method is a slightly better method than the 1st method because you will not lose as many customers and also, the customer is more likely to definitely enter his name and email address because he/she already paid for your product and would want to get to the download page as soon as possible.

This are 2 methods to get subscribers from your customers.

I know that this is very cliche, and you would probably have heard of this countless times but you have to take part in the forum actively first before people will take you seriously.

You see for example Warrior forum they will tell everyone what is the date you joined their forum, how many posts you have posted since you joined and the best part is also the number of times people in the forum have thanked you for a useful post.

That is a real credibility clincher. If you can get many “Thanks”, People will immediately hold your forum postings in higher regard and how are you going to get many “Thanks”?

Well, You have to take part in the conversations. Help people with issues and people will “Thank” you for it.

Remember, Your forum posting stays forever, as long as the forum is there, your forum posting will remain. So make sure that you start building up your credibility in the forum and people will start taking notice of all your signature links and visit your site.

Of course you have to put your squeeze page URL in your signature link.

Come up with a forum posting plan on how often you want to post (e.g. 5 times a day?) what topic you want to post about etc.

2. Offer FREE Ebooks on Forums

Create a new thread in the forums with a very catchy title or controversial or “Conversation worthy” topic.

This will get people to visit your thread.

But the trick here is that when you start the thread, inside the thread You must ask questions, give good tips and then Give a link to a FREE eBook that you have written.

The point is you are giving away a FREE eBook that does not require an opt in or anything.

I have tried adding a new thread on Forums many a times with a catchy headline and guess what, I get about 200 views in just a day.

The trick is you giving good tips in the thread and the tips is accompanied by an eBook.

In the eBook you provide, it will contain links to your squeeze page. Say your squeeze page is about list building. Then your eBook can be about “5 Ways to build a relationship with your list” and then tell your readers “if you are interested in knowing more list building strategies then sign up here” that is where you give your squeeze page link.

I have tried this method many times before and it is foolproof because you are giving people value, giving them information they need so the likelihood of them trusting you and subscribing to your offer is higher.

3. You can give away a FREE WSO on Warrior Forum

For those that do not know, WSO stands for Warrior Special Offer and this is found on the forum called Warrior Forum.

In this forum, there is a section called Warrior Special Offer Forum where members can give a good price or good deal on information products that they are selling. Many new internet marketers start off by selling eBooks or video courses that they create as a WSO.

But instead of selling a product on WSO, Give away products as a FREE WSO.

A Free WSO is a way of giving away a product but this method of getting people to view your product is even better than giving away your eBook on forum. You can direct people to your Squeeze page this time round and the offer you are giving must be really very good.

Warrior Special Offer forum is a place for really high quality products and your offer must be really irresistable in order to get many subscribers.

The Warrior Special Offer forum gets 1000s of viewers viewing it at any one time and is a place where many people are looking at getting good deals. so you can be sure if you are offering something useful, you can get a lot of signups.

But the catch is you have to pay $40 to become a member on this forum first and then pay $20 to list your offer on the Warrior Special Offer forum.

This may be quite a sum for many but if you can do this often enough and keep providing good value, you can get many new subscribers to your list.

I have always been asked this question quite often.

People asking me “How often should I post on my blog?”

“Is posting on your blog regularly important?”

So today, I decided to create a blog post on…

How often should you post on your blog?

My take on this is that you should blog frequently. Frequent blog posting is posting enough to keep your readers interested.

Obviously, people will not want to come back to a blog that hasn’t been updated in months. They want to see consistent posting so that they know coming back to check the blog next week to see if there are more posts won’t be a waste of time.

So the next question now would be…

How many blog entries a week?

It really depends on the purpose of your blog. It Depends on the niche your blog is in. Say you are in a weight loss niche, you probably need to blog about once a week to update your readers on any weight loss tips.

But for example you are running a sports blog where you provide insight, commentary and analyst of football games for example, you will need to blog more often than once a week for sure. This is because your content needs to be fresh and up to date in order to keep your readers on their toes.

The thing to remember is that quality counts.

Posting frequently just for the sake of posting frequently will lead to subpar posts which people don’t care about.

It is important to find a Good balance — Doing frequent, quality posts that won’t result in burnout on your part.

(This burnout I am talking about is when a blogger keeps trying to squeeze something out when they are clearly suffering from writer’s block or just cannot think of what to write about.)

So How do You create quality postings on a consistent basis?

It’s all about following a consistent pattern of writing.

If you do not quite understand what that means and you are not a natural writer then here’s an outline for you:

1. Firstly, Pick a topic that is interesting to you and to your readers. Maybe if your blog is a personal blog, you could write about the latest happenings in Hollywood. But what if you are saying “Hey! I am in this niche just to earn money, I am looking to blog and monetize my blog only and I am not interested in this niche at all!”

I can only say that you should start getting interested in your niche then! You can only truly be successful in your niche if you are willing to help people online. People online are looking for solutions and you should be there to help them.

2. Carefully think about what you’ll write about the topic. It makes it easy to make quality blog postings if you know exactly what you’ll write.

You should plot out everything about the post before even beginning to write it.

3. Before writing your content, pick out some keywords that are relevant to your blog post.

If you naturally use keywords throughout your post, you will please the search engine spiders crawling your site and they will get your blog ranked
higher on search engines.

4. After you have done all that, begin writing your post. Don’t limit yourself to a particular amount of words. Just do what’s natural. And if any blog post is proving too hard for you, just take a timeout and relax.

Taking time out to relax is good because at least you can think through your points again and come back with a better blog post.

But if you were to ask me to whittle to my 3 favourite methods to get traffic to my blog and I will tell you they are these 3…

These are the 3 Methods you can use to drive traffic to your blog.

I hope you will learn something from today’s blog lesson.

So the first method to drive traffic to your blog is…

1. Comment on Pro Blogs

This method of blog commenting must be done right.

You should google and find out the best authoritative blogs in your niche right now and then bookmark all of them.

Also, sign up to all the RSS feeds of these blogs.

Once any of these blogs create a new blog post, you will be notified and you can check out the blog post. After reading and understanding what the blog post is about, leave a good, relevant comment.

A comment that will add value to the post and also help others who might have read the blog post but don’t quite understand it fully.

Once you can get your comment in first or get in early, your comment will usually be just below the blog post.

The earliest comments are usually first, followed by the later comments.

So now you know how to comment, you must remember to put your link in the comment. The link that you put in your comment can be a general link to your blog itself.

Or let’s say you have written a blog post on your blog very similar to the blog post that you just read, you can leave a link to your blog post in the comment. This link to your blog post will lead readers to your site and if your blog post can help the readers, you will have just found for yourself new readers!

2. Do Guest Blogging

You can do Guest posting for other authoritative blogs in your niche too!

These kind of authoritative blogs usually have a very large readership. Their RSS feeds are subscribed by 10,000s (Tens of thousands) of people.

So every time a blog post appears on these blogs, it can get exposure to close to thousands of eyeballs.

If the blog post is useful, the writer will instantly gain credibility and the reader will definitely want to check out any link that the writer recommends.

So you can just be the one, be that guest blogger!

One way to find for blogs that allow blog post is to google for it. Type in “Guest post” or “Guest blog” etc. You can find many sites in your niche that will allow guest blogging.

The key to guest blogging is that you can’t get away with poor quality. You need to write a good post, something that is different and something that is easy to understand.

And the link that you link back to your site must be relevant.

Do not write in your guest post about windsurfing techniques and then in the link back to your site, link to canoeing for example.

3. Use Facebook for Traffic

You can also drive tons of traffic from Facebook to your blog.

Before I tell you how, make sure that you have to facebook “Like” button installed on your blog post. Whether it is at the top of your post or at the bottom.

What you can do is everytime you write a blog post, you can entice all your loyal readers or anyone who reads your blog post to “Like” your post.

Do you know that you only need about 50 people to “Like” your blog post and it can go viral!

Once someone “Like” something, the link to that something will appear on their Facebook wall and all their friends will get to see it.

50 people “Like” your post? If say each of them have 200 friends each (This is a very modest estimate), your post would be made known to 10,000 people already!

Of course not all 10,000 people will know or will be interested in your niche, but you at least are promoting out your blog, promoting your name out to as many people as possible.

This is how viral Facebook can be and you can definitely use it for your benefit!

It is no use reading about traffic methods, understanding them but not trying them out.

Try it out for yourself and see whether it works!
